The Alan Parsons Project est un groupe musical britannique formé à Londres en 1974 par Alan Parsons, ingénieur du son de renommée internationale, et Eric Woolfson, compositeur et manager. L'idée était de créer un projet musical innovant qui combinerait des éléments progressifs, rock et musique classique, avec l'orchestre comme élément central. La formation comprenait des musiciens de session et des chanteurs invités, parmi lesquels Lenny Zakatek, David Paton, Chris Rainbow et Colin Blunstone. Woolfson s'est principalement occupé de la composition des morceaux vocaux, tandis qu'Alan Parsons se concentrait sur la production et les compositions instrumentales. Parmi leurs albums les plus notables figurent *Tales of Mystery and Imagination* (1976), inspiré par les œuvres d'Edgar Allan Poe, *Pyramid* (1975) et *Eye in the Sky* (1977). Le groupe a connu un succès international dans les années 1970 et 1980 avec des chansons comme "Sirius", "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You" et "Time Away". Après la fin du projet en 1982, Parsons et Woolfson ont continué à travailler de manière indépendante. Woolfson est décédé en 2009.

Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
