Craig Ashley David (né le 5 juin 1981) est un chanteur, auteur-compositeur et producteur de disques britannique connu pour son mélange distinctif de R and B, garage et hip-hop. Né à Southampton, en Angleterre, David est devenu célèbre à la fin des années 1990 avec son album de début *Born to Do It* (2000), qui a connu un succès commercial mondial. L'album a engendré plusieurs tubes, notamment "Fill Me In", "7 Days" et "What's Your Flava". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
