Prong est un groupe américain de metal industriel formé à New York en 1986 par Tommy Victor (chant, guitare) et Ted Parsons (batterie). Considérés comme des pionniers du metal industriel, ils ont influencé de nombreux groupes ultérieurs avec leur son agressif et expérimental. Au cours des années, la formation a changé plusieurs fois, mais Victor reste le seul membre original encore présent. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Snap Your Fingers", "Beg to Differ" et "Cut Rate". Leur album de début "Force of Habit" (1989) a marqué un tournant pour le genre, en introduisant des éléments de punk hardcore au metal industriel. Prong continue d'être actif aujourd'hui, lançant de nouveaux albums et faisant des tournées dans le monde entier.
La chanteuse de renom Rihanna et le rappeur A$AP Rocky ont récemment fait la une des journaux du monde entier en dévoilant le nom de leur deuxième enfant.
