Craig Ashley David (né le 5 juin 1981) est un chanteur, auteur-compositeur et producteur de disques britannique connu pour son mélange distinctif de R and B, garage et hip-hop. Né à Southampton, en Angleterre, David est devenu célèbre à la fin des années 1990 avec son album de début *Born to Do It* (2000), qui a connu un succès commercial mondial. L'album a engendré plusieurs tubes, notamment "Fill Me In", "7 Days" et "What's Your Flava". La musique de David explore souvent des thèmes d'amour, de relations et de vie urbaine, avec ses voix douces et ses mélodies accrocheuses qui résonnent auprès du public de tous les genres. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
