Flatfoot 56 est un groupe de punk rock originaire de Chicago, Illinois, une ville traditionnellement associée au genre. Actifs depuis 2013, ils sont connus pour leur son qui fusionne des éléments de street punk avec des influences celtiques. Leur son puissant et leurs paroles reflétant la vie des travailleurs leur ont valu une base de fans dévouée dans le monde entier. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "The Ballad of the Working Man", "Black Thorn" et "Chicago's Finest". L'album "Black Thorn", produit par Johnny Rioux des Street Dogs, célèbre le dixième anniversaire du groupe.
