Trey Songz, né Tremaine Aldon Neverson, est un chanteur, auteur-compositeur, producteur discographique et acteur américain né à Petersburg, Virginie, en 1984. Actif depuis 2005, il a acquis la renommée grâce à son style R and B contemporain caractérisé par des mélodies accrocheuses et des paroles romantiques. Parmi ses albums les plus notables figurent *I Gotta Make It* (2005), *Trey Day* (2009) et *Passion Pain and Pleasure* (2011). Il a collaboré avec des artistes de renom tels que Drake, Nicki Minaj et Chris Brown. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
