Funkmaster Flex, de son vrai nom Aston Taylor, est un DJ et producteur de disques américain né à New York en 1968. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du turntablism, il a contribué de manière significative au développement du hip hop dans les années 1990. Il a commencé sa carrière de DJ dans les clubs d'Harlem avant d'acquérir une renommée nationale grâce à son émission radiophonique "The Flex Show" sur Hot 97.
