Capdown était un groupe de hardcore punk formé en 1997 en Angleterre. Connus pour leur son énergique et leurs paroles politiques, ils ont sorti plusieurs albums dont « Pound for the Sound », « Wind Up Toys », « capdown / link 80 », « Civil Disobedients » et « New Revolutionaries ». Le groupe a contribué à définir le hardcore punk britannique des années 90 et continue d'être apprécié par une base de fans fidèle. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives, on peut citer « The Sound of Silence », « No More Heroes » et « Civil Disobedience ».
