Hecate Enthroned è una band di symphonic black metal proveniente da Cheshire, Inghilterra. Attiva dal 1993, il gruppo si distingue per l'utilizzo di elementi classici e orchestrali nel loro sound black metal aggressivo. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Serpent's Tongue", "Arise from the Ashes" e "Blood of the Coven". L'album di debutto "The Serpent's Tongue" (1996) è considerato un punto di riferimento nel genere symphonic black metal. Hecate Enthroned ha collaborato con artisti come Lord Belial e i Cradle of Filth, contribuendo a definire l'evoluzione del black metal sinfonico.
