S Club 7 est un groupe pop britannique formé à Londres en 1998 sous la direction du manager Simon Fuller, connu pour avoir lancé les Spice Girls. Le groupe était composé de sept membres : Bradley McIntosh, Jon Lee, Tina Barrett, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Paul Cattermole et Rachel Stevens. Leur style musical se basait sur des rythmes dance-pop accrocheurs et des paroles simples mais engageantes, ce qui en a fait un succès international entre la fin des années 90 et le début des années 2000. S Club 7 a vendu plus de 10 millions d'albums dans le monde entier, obtenant de nombreux succès dans les classements musicaux britanniques et internationaux. Parmi leurs chansons les plus célèbres figurent "Bring the House Down", "Don't Stop Movin'", "Reach" et "Never Had a Dream Come True". En 2003, après une série de tournées et d'albums à succès, le groupe s'est séparé pour poursuivre des carrières solo. En 2015, S Club 7 est revenu ensemble pour une tournée de retrouvailles qui a connu un grand succès.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
