Icehouse est un groupe de rock australien formé à Sydney en 1977 sous le nom Flowers. Initialement connus en Australie pour leur style pub rock, ils ont ensuite connu un succès commercial en jouant de la musique new wave et synthpop, atteignant les dix premiers des classements singles à la fois en Europe et aux États-Unis. Le pilier fondamental tant de Flowers que d'Icehouse est Iva Davies (chanteur-compositeur, producteur discographique, guitare, basse, claviers, hautbois) qui a toujours collaboré avec des musiciens supplémentaires. Le nom Icehouse, adopté en 1981, vient d'un ancien appartement froid où Davies vivait et du bâtiment étrange en face peuplé de personnes itinérantes. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives : *Great Circle*, *Icehouse*, *Can the Can*.
