Lordz of Brooklyn est un groupe de hip-hop américain formé à Brooklyn, New York, dans les années 1990. Leur style musical se caractérise par des rimes agressives et des paroles qui reflètent la dure réalité de la vie dans les rues de Brooklyn. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "All in the Family" et "Graffiti Roc", contenues dans l'album éponyme de 1996. Lordz of Brooklyn ont contribué à définir le son du hip-hop underground new-yorkais, influençant des générations d'artistes ultérieurs.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
