Steve Poltz est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, guitariste et joueur d'harmonica canadien né à Winnipeg en 1968. Connu pour son style folk-rock caractérisé par des paroles introspectives et des mélodies accrocheuses, Poltz a collaboré avec des artistes tels que Jewel et The Weepies. Son album de début, "The Steve Poltz Album", est sorti en 1997. Parmi ses chansons les plus connues figurent "You're Gonna Be Famous", "I'm Not Your Man" et "My Heart Is a Drum".
