Toad the Wet Sprocket è un gruppo folk rock americano formatosi nel 1986 a Santa Barbara, California. I membri fondatori sono il cantante Glen Phillips, il chitarrista Todd Nichols, il bassista Dean Dinning e il batterista Randy Guss. Il loro sound si caratterizza per melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un'atmosfera malinconica ma confortante.
