Foetus è il progetto musicale principale di J. G. Thirlwell, pioniere dell'industrial music. Fin dal 1995, il gruppo ha assunto diverse denominazioni, tutte contenenti la parola "foetus", tra cui Foetus Under Glass, You've Got Foetus On Your Breath e Scraping Foetus Off The Wheel. Dopo il 1995, il nome è diventato permanentemente Foetus, anche se nel 1997 è stato fondato il progetto correlato The Foetus Symphony Orchestra, tuttora attivo. Thirlwell è noto per la sua musica sperimentale e provocatoria, che spesso esplora temi oscuri e controversi. Le sue opere sono caratterizzate da un suono industriale grezzo, ritmi martellanti e testi disturbanti. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
