Living Death était un groupe de heavy metal allemand originaire de Velbert, actif du début des années 1980 au début des années 1990. Malgré la brièveté de leur carrière, ils ont laissé une empreinte significative sur le paysage musical allemand de l'époque. Leur son était caractérisé par des riffs lourds, une batterie puissante et des voix agressives, influencées par le genre thrash metal émergent. Bien qu'ils n'aient pas atteint la renommée internationale, Living Death a bénéficié d'une solide base de fans en Allemagne et a contribué à façonner le mouvement heavy metal local. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Bloodlust", "Metal Massacre" et "Death's Embrace".
