The Alice Band est un groupe musical britannique actif entre les années 1980 et 1990. Connues pour leur son pop-rock, elles ont connu une certaine popularité aux États-Unis avec des singles comme "Now That You Love Me" et "One Day at a Time". Leur album de début, "The Love Junk Store", sorti en 1985, a marqué le début de leur carrière. Le groupe s'est séparé à la fin des années 1990. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives : "Now That You Love Me", "One Day at a Time", "(Don't Fear) The Reaper".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
