Finch est un groupe de rock américain formé à Chicago, Illinois, en 1998. Le groupe a connu une popularité dans les années 2000 avec son son emo/post-hardcore caractérisé par des mélodies accrocheuses et des paroles introspectives. Finch a sorti quatre albums studio : *What We Know to Be True* (2002), *Say Hello to Sunshine* (2003), *The Company of Strangers* (2006) et *Back to Oblivion* (2018). Parmi les chansons les plus connues de Finch, on trouve "Letters to You", "Stay the Same" et "What We Know to Be True". Après une pause en 2007, le groupe s'est reformé en 2016 pour une tournée de retrouvailles. En 2018, ils ont sorti leur quatrième album studio, *Back to Oblivion*. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
