Shifty Shellshock, de son vrai nom Seth Brooks Binzer, était un rappeur et chanteur américain connu pour être le leader du groupe de hip-hop Crazy Town. Né en Californie en 1975, il a commencé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1990 avec Crazy Town, atteignant le succès international en 2000 avec l'album "The Gift of Game". Le single "Butterfly" est devenu un énorme succès mondial, se classant en tête des charts de nombreux pays. Outre cette chanson, d'autres succès de Crazy Town incluent "Insane Clown Posse" et "Darkside of the Sun". Shellshock a contribué à l'écriture de nombreuses chansons du groupe, caractérisées par un mélange de hip-hop, de rock alternatif et d'éléments électroniques. Après une pause en 2006, Shellshock a lancé une carrière solo, publiant des albums comme "The Last Stand" (2010) et collaborant avec d'autres artistes. En 2019, il a été victime d'un grave accident qui l'a contraint à prendre sa retraite de la musique.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
