Ian Dury et les Blockheads sont un groupe musical britannique actif entre les années 1970 et 1980. Fondé par Ian Dury, chanteur, musicien et poète, le groupe est connu pour sa musique ska-punk avec des influences de rockabilly et de cabaret. Dury, né à Harrow en 1942, a eu une enfance marquée par la poliomyélite qui lui a causé une paralysie permanente de la jambe droite. Cet événement a profondément influencé son parcours artistique, nourrissant son ironie et sa capacité à raconter des histoires du point de vue de ceux qui sont différents. Les Blockheads, avec Chaz Jankel au piano et Mickey Gallagher à l'orgue, ont accompagné Dury dans un voyage musical qui a traversé des thèmes sociaux, politiques et personnels avec une touche d'humour noir et une grande énergie en concert. Parmi leurs albums les plus importants figurent *New Boots and Panties*** (1977), *Do It Yourself* (1979) et *Laughter* (1980). Les chansons les plus célèbres du groupe incluent *Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick*, *Reasons to Be Cheerful, Part 3* et *Wake Up and Make Love with Me*. Ian Dury est décédé en 2000 des suites d'un cancer du pancréas. Son héritage musical continue d'inspirer les artistes et les fans du monde entier.

C'était le 5 avril 1980 quand un groupe inconnu et sans nom a joué dans une église désacralisée de la ville universitaire d'Athens en Géorgie. À peine deux semaines plus tard, ils ont choisi un nom R.E.M. , et ilt ont sortiun single et en 1983 un album "Murmur".
Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
