Tim Armstrong est un musicien américain né Timothy Lockwood Armstrong. Il est surtout connu comme le chanteur et guitariste de Rancid, l'une des groupes de punk rock les plus influents des années 1990. Armstrong a commencé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1980 avec The Operation avant de former Rancid en 1991. Avec Rancid, Armstrong a sorti des albums à succès comme "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995) et "Life Won't Wait" (1998), contribuant à définir le son du punk rock moderne. Outre Rancid, Armstrong a collaboré avec d'autres artistes comme Dropkick Murphys et The Transplants, démontrant sa polyvalence musicale. Parmi les morceaux les plus représentatifs de Rancid figurent "Ruby Soho", "Time Bomb" et "Roots Radicals".
