Gin Blossoms è una band alternative rock formatasi nel 1987 a Tempe, Arizona. Il nome deriva da una fotografia di W.C. Fields con la didascalia "W.C. Fields with gin blossoms", che faceva riferimento al naso dell'attore apparentemente devastato dall'alcol, ma in realtà era una condizione cutanea nota come rosacea. La band ha pubblicato tre album e ha avuto diversi successi a metà degli anni '90, prima di sciogliersi nel 1997. Cinque anni dopo, nel 2002, la band si è riunita, ha rilasciato un DVD, ha ripreso i tour e ha promesso un quarto album. Major Lodge Victory, il primo album dei Gin Blossoms in dieci anni, è stato pubblicato l'8 agosto 2006 sull'etichetta Hybrid Recordings. Tra le loro canzoni più rappresentative ricordiamo "Hey Jealousy", "Found Out About You" e "Follow You Down".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
