Freternia est un groupe de metal fantasy sombre, actif depuis 2014. Leur musique se caractérise par des atmosphères sombres et épiques, avec des influences du power metal et du heavy metal classique. Malgré leur faible exposition médiatique, Freternia a construit une base de fans solide grâce à la qualité de leur musique et à l'implication des fans sur les réseaux sociaux.
