Fiddler's Green est un groupe allemand d'Erlangen, formé en 1990. Ils se spécialisent dans l'Irish speedfolk indépendant, caractérisé par des rythmes rapides et des mélodies irlandaises traditionnelles réinterprétées avec un style moderne. Leur premier concert sous le nom Fiddler's Green a eu lieu au Newcomer-Festival d'Erlangen en novembre 1990, où le groupe a obtenu la deuxième place. En 1992, ils ont sorti leur album éponyme, un mélange de morceaux enregistrés en direct et en studio, à la fois traditionnels et originaux. L'album a été publié sur leur propre label indépendant, Deaf Shepherd Recordings. Malgré avoir eu un contrat avec une major, ils ont choisi de retourner à l'indépendance.
