Connus pour leur son brutal et agressif, ils ont sorti plusieurs albums, dont "Remnants of Deprivation", "Transcend Into Ferocity", "Remnants Revived" et "Absorbing the Disarray". Le groupe est considéré comme l'un des groupes les plus influents du paysage underground du death metal. Visceral Bleeding a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes du panorama metal, contribuant à définir l'esthétique et la sonorité de ce genre musical.
