Lonestar è un gruppo musicale country statunitense formatosi negli anni '90. Il gruppo, originario del Texas, ha raggiunto il successo nazionale con brani come «Amazed» e «I'm Already There». La formazione originale includeva Richie McDonald (voce), Dean Sams (tastiere, cori), Michael Britt (chitarra), Keech Rainwater (batteria) e John Rich (basso, cori). Nel 1998, John Rich ha lasciato il gruppo per dedicarsi a una carriera solista. Nel 2007, Richie McDonald ha abbandonato il gruppo per intraprendere la carriera da solista, sostituito da Cody Collins. Lonestar è noto per il suo sound country tradizionale con influenze pop e per le melodie orecchiabili. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
