Lou Rawls (Louis Allen Rawls), nato a Chicago nel 1933, è stato un leggendario cantante soul americano. Iniziò la sua carriera negli anni '50 come membro del gruppo gospel The Pilgrim Travelers, per poi emergere come solista negli anni '60 con il suo potente timbro vocale e le interpretazioni emozionali di canzoni soul e R and B. Rawls ha venduto milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, ottenendo numerosi successi tra cui "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine", "Lady Love", e "Love Is a Hurtin' Thing".
