Bunny Wailer, né Neville O'Riley Livingston (1947-2021), était un chanteur et percussionniste jamaïcain considéré comme l'un des piliers du reggae. Membre fondateur des Wailers aux côtés de Bob Marley et Peter Tosh, il a contribué de manière significative à la naissance et à l'évolution de ce genre musical. Après la séparation du groupe, Bunny Wailer a entamé une carrière solo réussie, remportant de nombreux prix, dont trois Grammy Awards. Sa musique se caractérise par un profond spiritualisme rastafari, des paroles poétiques et des rythmes captivants. Parmi ses morceaux les plus représentatifs : "Blackheart Man", "Dreamland" et "Here Comes Trouble". Bunny Wailer était une figure emblématique du reggae mondial, dont l'héritage continue d'inspirer des générations de musiciens.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
