Meshell Ndegeocello (nata Michelle Lynn Johnson) è una cantautrice, rapper e bassista statunitense di grande talento e versatilità. Nata a Los Angeles nel 1968, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 con un sound che fonde jazz, soul, funk e hip hop. La sua musica è caratterizzata da testi introspettivi e poetici, spesso incentrati su temi sociali e politici.
