David Styles, connu sous le nom de Styles P, est un rappeur américain né à New York en 1974. Il fait partie des membres fondateurs du groupe de hip-hop The LOX, aux côtés de Jadakiss et Sheek Louch. Le trio a connu le succès dans les années 1990 avec des albums comme "Money, Power and Respect" (1998) et "We Are the Streets" (2000). Styles P est reconnu pour ses rimes complexes, sa voix profonde et son style de rap agressif. Il a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes, notamment The Alchemist, DMX et Jay-Z. Au cours de sa carrière, il a sorti plusieurs albums solo à succès, tels que "A Gangster's Story" (2006) et "The Green Ghost Project" (2014). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
