Funkdoobiest est un groupe de rap latino originaire de Los Angeles, Californie. Les membres originaux sont Son Doobie (Jason Vasquez), un rappeur portoricain, DJ Ralph M (Ralph Medrano), un DJ chicano, et Tomahawk Funk (Tyrone Pacheco) de la nation Lakota. Il a quitté le groupe après leur deuxième album. Leurs deux premiers albums ont été principalement produits par DJ Muggs des Cypress Hill. Leur troisième et jusqu'à présent dernier album, 'The Troubleshooters', comprenait la production de Ralph M et DJ Rectangle. Alors que les autres albums étaient clairement du rap hardcore dans la veine de Cypress Hill et d'autres membres de Soul Assassins, 'The Troubleshooters' était plus polyvalent.
