Geoff Moore and The Distance était un groupe musical formé en 1987. Le duo, composé de Geoff Moore et Geof Barkley, a sorti plusieurs albums, notamment « Greatest Hits », « Evolution », « A Friend Like U », « A Place to Stand » et « Pure and Simple ». Leur musique se situe principalement dans le genre Pop Rock, avec des influences de Christian Rock, Contemporary Christian, Christian Pop et Rock. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent « I'll Be There », « The Way You Make Me Feel » et « A Place to Stand ».
